I’m not sure if the movie Darjeeling Express is any good, but I was intrigued by the fact that director Wes Anderson is releasing a short film related to the theatrical release exclusively on iTunes. Even more intriguingly, this WSJ article on the iTunes release uses the words “Natalie Portman” and “extended nude scene” in the same sentence.

In other iTunes exclusive news, it looks like Edward Burns new movie, Purple Violets, will be released via the online store before any other outlet.

From Pathfinder (2007), the best Vikings vs. Native Americans movie since The Norseman (1978). The scene is the one where Ghost, the obligatory-yet-oddly-out-of-place-white-guy, makes clear his intentions to the hot Tamaranian squaw Starfire.

Starfire: There are two wolves fighting in each man’s heart. One is love, the other is hate.

Ghost: Which one wins?

Starfire: The one you feed the most.

I’ve decided to devote time and effort to finding interesting online video content, preferably dramatic material. (In other words, videos of Filipino prisoners reenacting Michael Jackson don’t count.)

Today, I’d like to call attention to “World Enough and Time,” the most recent episode of Star Trek: New Voyages that just went up online. I know a bunch of the people who worked on this so I may not be the most objective reviewer ever, but I do think this particular episode a very entertaining re-creation of the 1960s Star Trek series. Technically “World Enough and Time” is the third episode of the series, and by far the most polished. Oh yeah, and George Takei is in it, so that’s cool.
