Morgan Webb is pretty.

Webb Alert is Morgan’s almost-daily tech news podcast. As time goes on the stories have been getting longer and more detailed, which is good. She’s also been doing special gaming editions on Fridays, though she skipped this week, I assume because she’s heading E3.

This radio show from KCRW is probably my favorite political debate show, basically because there is an honest attempt to not let the discussion devolve into people screaming at each other. I just wish it were longer, because short length keeps subjects from being talked about in detail. The usual line up is moderator Matt Miller representing the center, Tony Blankley representing the right, Robert Scheer representing the left, and Arianna Huffington representing the planet Mongo.

This podcast is a repackaging of a segment that runs on BBC Radio 5′s Up All Night. Dr. Karl is Karl Kruszelnicki, an Australian who apparently feels an uncontrollable need to answer the kinds of science questions that only British people can come up with between 2:00 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on a Thursday morning. I’d say a good 20% of all the callers think that they’ve disproved Einstein’s Special Relativity, usually because they don’t understand the concept of a frame of reference. Joking aside, though, it’s a fun podcast and Dr. Karl is a witty educator whose heart is definitely in the right place.
