These pictures are from the first Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace trailer. It was released in November 1998. These caps are from Entertainment Tonight.

On the left we see a cockpit view of a battle. Notice that the attacking ships look kind of like TIE Interceptors. On the right we see what is presumably one of the good guy's ships. Notice that all of the technology on display in Episode I looks very elegant, as opposed to the clunky blocky look of the technology in Episodes IV - VI. It seems that the Clone Wars really kicked the cr@p out of the galaxy.

Two of the very impressive CGI aliens you can see in the trailer.

"What ain't no planet I've ever heard of! Do they speak Bocce on What?" Mace Windu and the Jedi Council. In the full council picture Anakin is facing Yoda. To the right of Yoda is Mace Windu, and to the left of Yoda is a character who was introduced in the first issue of Dark Horse's continuing Star Wars series.

A Tatooieen street scene with Liam Neeson's character and Anakin. Notice the alien in the background leading the dewback. He looks like one of the aliens added to Star Wars: The Special Edition, as you can see in the picture on the right.
On the left we see Liam Neeson running from some sort of machines. We'd guess the machines are the same one you see on the picture on the right. These machines seem to be associated with the battle droids of the Trade Federation.
Speaking of battle droids, they seem to be everywhere. Here we see one on a STAP, and on the right they attack Theed palace on Naboo.
Close ups of Ewan McGregor and Liam Neeson. Jedi's are cool.
Even way back before Return of the Jedi came out, it was rumored that R2-D2 and C-3P0 would be the only characters from the original trilogy to appear in the two new trilogies. Well, here they are in the second trilogy, even if the third trilogy has been scrapped. Of course, one can wonder why the two droids don't recognize Obi-Wan in Star Wars, or why Obi-Wan would lie to Luke about the droids at the same time.
