K Street

I really love K Street. Watching actual Washington figures have improvised political discussions is strangely compelling. I also love James Carville. In the most recent episode he has an hilarious moment where he complains that the fact that his wife his close to the Bush White House means that he has to buy lawyers to protect either himself or her no matter which party the President is. And speaking of his wife, Mary Matalin has her share of laugh out loud moments.

Sadly I doubt this show, or Carnivale, will last past their 10 episode orders. The rating on neither have been very good. To some extent you would think that HBO wouldn't care about ratings per se because the channel isn't commercial driven, but the indications aren't that good.
