Survivor: America's Tribal Council

After what seemed like two full years of episodes Survivor All-Stars is finally over. I loved the idea of "America's Tribal Council," where we were going to get award one contestant a million dollars. I wonder who will win... I wonder who will win...

Oh, it was Rupert! The man who has clearly been the most popular Survivor contestant ever from the first episode in which he appeared. Obviously, CBS knew he was going to win. This was just CBS's way of thanking him for propping up the somewhat aging franchise with his considerable presence for the last year.

The only real surprise to me was that Weasel Lips... excuse me, Boston Rob made the final four in the viewer voting. By the polls on CBS's website Ethan, Rudy or Kathy should be far more popular than him. Did he get some kind of bizarre sympathy vote from people who thought it would be cute if Rob and Amber had matching $1 million checks? Or did Amber just use part of her check to pay a town full of people to vote Rob repeatedly? Unless we get a Florida style audit, we may never know.
