Angel



I wasn't a big fan of Angel last season. it was too complicated and not interesting enough. Luckily by the end of that season they pretty much made a clean break with what came before and started a whole new plot line, about the Angel Gang taking over Wolfram & Heart.

The first two episodes of the new season have aired, and I think this season will be a lot more fun. Running Wolfram & Heart will cause lots of interesting complications, and the addition of Harmony and Spike to the gang is great. I hope they get back to making fun fun of Angel's super hero image like they did in the first season, and Spike's constant barrage of insults ("Captain Forehead here...") is a good place to start.

One thing I will give last season; there was some great fight choreography. The fight on the rooftop between the Gang and the Beast was especially good. They'll be hard pressed to top it, though these last couple of episodes have not been bad in terms of kung fu.
