Wendigo

Wendigo (2001) is an incredibly boring film. It's like a half hour Twilight Zone episode ruthlessly padded out to an excruciating slow 95 minutes. Set in upper New York state, Wendigo is about a family taking residence in remote vacation home. Their neighbor, a twitchy deer hunter, has a mad on for them, and takes two potshots at the house when they aren't there. That's all that happens until more than hour in, when the father of the family is shot while sledding with his son. The son then uses to a Native American totem to call the legendary Wendigo to take revenge. Maybe. Whether anything actually supernatural takes place is left up to the interpretation of the viewer. Sadly, most viewers will have fallen asleep by then.

Any hope that anyone would take this boring film seriously is undone by the fact that the son is played by the kid who plays Dewey on Malcolm in the Middle, though he has almost no lines.
