Most Potentially Self-Destructive Lawsuit
Today a trial opened in London. In a nutshell
the authors of the book Holy Blood, Holy Grail are suing Dan Brown over
his book The DaVinci Code. Details here. What I find interesting here is
that Holy Blood, Holy Grail is supposed to be a book of history, and you
can't copyright historical facts. Fringe historians like this want to have it
both ways. They want to us to believe they're telling the truth, yet they want
their "research" to be protected like fiction. I can't wait to see how this will
shake out.
