Scott's Random Thought for the Day (Death Storm -- Canceled)
I think it's officially over us. The guy on the
local news channel went from giving "hurricane updates" to "weather updates" and
was grudgingly admitting that after three days of telling us we were all going
to die in a soggy Armageddon of storm surge-driven floods and flying tree
branches all we got was a thunderstorm, and frankly not even a very bad
one.
And I hear birds chirping outside right now.
Unfortunately Sarasota sounds like it got hit pretty bad. Direct your sympathy and well-wishing to them.
