Scott's Random Thought for the Day? (Do You Haiku?)

There's a certain kind of lazy blogger who uses material harvested from spam to make up blog entries.

I'm a very, very lazy blogger.

About a week ago I started receiving odd little faux-poems in my e-mail. The senders all seem be randomly generated female names. In Apple's Mail the only thing that displays is the poem, though looking at the raw source reveals a pitch for some sort of medicine.

The first one is from "Jonie Fatima," who may be sleeping with the Count from Sesame Street.

Next up is "Ute Luisa," who may be asking her friend Pinocchio whether to buy lottery tickets or food.

idea spoken being wood friend

"Lucile Kayla" may well be a pseudonym for Frankenstein's monster, judging from this doggerel.

And finally Alvina Hortencia (totally what I'm naming my fist child -- boy or girl) has a Poe-esque warning.

I'm sure these were just generated with a random phrase generator in an attempt to get past the Boolean filters most e-mail programs use today. It's interesting how the human mind tries so hard find meaning in this stuff. Mine certainly does.

Sorry about this. Some real content tomorrow, I promise.
