Scott's Random Thought For The Day (Crocodile Feeding)



Today we found out that Steve Irwin (a.k.a. The Crocodile Hunter) isn't going to be charged for a publicity stunt last month where he fed a crocodile while holding his months old son.

On one hand, I don't think it's a good idea to encourage people to do stupid things like that. On the other hand... this is Steve Irwin we're talking about. He's been handling large reptiles for his entire life. He must be very, very good at it, or our good friend natural selection would have long ago taken him out of the gene pool. If there were even the slightest chance of an accident occurring while he was feeding a croc, surely it would have happened by now and he would have died before he had a chance to have a kid. Or at least he would have been so horribly maimed that no woman would want to have sex with him.
