Dragon*Con Here I Come!

As of tomorrow evening I’m off to Dragon*Con 2004 in Atlanta, GA. I’ll be speaking on a couple of panels on writing, but most of the time I’m going to be just enjoying the convention. This year’s guest line up has proven to be remarkably fluid. A few of the people I most wanted to see, like George Romero, have dropped out. (David Carradine was listed as having canceled because “proffesional commitments” by which I assume they meant “rehab,” but he seems to be back on board now.) Meanwhile some of the biggest draws weren’t added until the last minute, like Nathan Fillion and Adam Baldwin. Those last two, plus Jewel Staite, will probably make for some great Firefly themed panels. I’m also looking forward to seeing comic book writer Warren Ellis, who has a number of interesting projects coming up both inside and outside the comics industry. I'll also get my Doctor Who fix with Peter Davison.

If you watch my .Mac photo collection I’ll be cycling out the Dragon*Con 2003 photos and replacing them with photos from 2004. Chris has also created a public Dragon*Con group over at Flickr for sharing photos
