I'm Off to Dragon*Con 2005!
I'll be getting on a plane today to take me to Dragon*Con 2005, or as my girlfriend calls it, Nerdstock. I'll be going as a guest (I'm on one panel in the writing track), and I'm hoping to see a lot of the stars of Firefly/Serenity. Sadly, about half the Firefly people who we thought were going to be there canceled, including Nathan Fillion and Joss Whedon, but it's still a good line-up.
I also found out Robert Sawyer, a science fiction author I enjoy, is going to be there, but schedule-wise I'm not sure I'll get to see him speak.
In other sad news, Corey Feldman had to cancel. A moment of silence, please.
I've mapped out where I want to be and when, so I think I'm ready. It's going to be a blast!
