Trajan is the movie font

OK, this is pretty funny. 99% of moviegoers out there won't have even thought about this, but I'll confess -- I noticed. I didn't know the name of the font, but I knew it was being overused.

Well, in response to the Comic Sans comment, I can only refer to this Achewood strip, also known as "I found the son-of-a-bitch who invented Comic Sans".

Why we don't see more use of quality fonts like Green Fuz or Sargasso is beyond me. Or Courier. I loves me a good Courier.

I used Century Gothic for the titles of my short film (www.atomicarmageddon.com), I felt a serif typeface would have been too overbearing given the subject.
Not sure what my web site designer is using there, but it's not Trajan! What have the Romans ever done for us?
I agree with the good doctor though, can't beat a good Courier. There's nothing like giving a presentation at work with Courier, and with black text on white or white text on black. And no graphs!
